Timing and planning your session

The best light in Mauritius is usually one hour after sunrise and one hour before sunset. Midday sun is harsh and creates strong shadows under eyes and chins, so we plan around it for outdoor portraits.

May through October is peak wedding and photo season — dry, cooler, and reliable. November to April is warmer with occasional tropical showers, but the rain often passes quickly and can create dramatic skies.
