Hindu Wedding Photographer in Mauritius

Mauritius has one of the largest Hindu communities outside India, and Hindu, Tamil and Marathi weddings here are rich with ritual — from the mandap ceremony and saptapadi to sangeet, mehndi and haldi celebrations spread across several days.

I photograph these ceremonies with a deep respect for tradition and a documentary eye for the small, sacred moments — the tying of the mangalsutra, the exchange of garlands, the tears during kanyadaan. I work discreetly during religious rituals and know how to move around priests, family elders and ceremonial fires without disrupting the flow.
